Take This Job and Shove it: Stuffing Envelopes from Home

Everyone’s dream job is the one that is nearly effortless and yet pays you a great income. Stuffing envelopes would seem to fit into this category, but if someone offers you this job, you should say no without hesitation. Most envelope stuffing jobs are really just scams that will pay you next to nothing if they pay you at all.

The reality of the situation is that the Federal Trade Commission has been cautioning people to avert these job offers completely. You are more likely to lose money than make any since these jobs require you to dispatch a sum ranging anywhere from $20-$40, supposedly to reimburse the cost of an information pack that will “show you how to make money“. At first glance, this information pack will be presented as totally free, and you will receive a main packet in the mail that maintains you must send money in order to get the job.

There are many valid methods for earning an income online. Unfortunately, stuffing envelopes doesn’t fit into that category. If you are considering a work from home opportunity there are some basic questions you need to ask before you begin: who is paying me, how will I be paid, is there a contract? If your potential employer asks you to send money before you can start working, then it’s probably a scam.

As a rule, you need to conduct some research into these jobs before pursuing a career online. If you are concerned about scams, the best choice of action would be to get into contact with the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC can inform you about any job you bring to their attention and tell you if it is illicit or legal.

Since now you know that stuffing envelopes for money isn’t going to work out, you can spend some time looking for legitimate work from home employment. There are many ways available to work from home moms to earn money without leaving the house, but it can take time to find the right ones for you. Do your homework and don’t give up, you will find something with persistence.
