Buying leads seems to be a good network marketing opportunity at least at first glance. The problem actually goes a lot deeper: as long as you depend on someone else for leads, you are not in full control of your business. Leads purchase poses many risks and it is not the answer for what I consider a real network marketing opportunity.
Companies that sell leads are interested in making money, they don’t care about your products or services; which means that they can sell you virtually anything. You’ll just buy some tired lists that have already been sold dozens of times. There is one other category of lead sellers: those who sell very expensive leads. You have the chance of getting access to unique prospects but you depend on the seller for access to this group of buyers. You’ll no longer get leads if you stop paying.
The real network marketing opportunity appears to a self-sustaining company that does not rely on others for the main activities. Forget about getting rich quickly; that doesn’t happen too often. You can’t make a business very profitable in no time: it takes resources, time, effort and skills. The answer to many of your dilemmas is to try your business experience and luck online.
When working on the Internet, the advertising of your product will depend on the creation of some theme-based content. Many marketers write articles just to advertise through article directories; they create backlinks and increase business exposure and traffic. The links included in the materials will then help web surfers navigate to your web site. A good network marketing opportunity does not appear too often in the real sense of the word. Since only 1% of the web visitors convert in buyers, you really need to increase traffic.
Even when you manage to create prospects, you still have work to do: you need to win their trust, loyalty and convince them to buy. You should do your best to enhance the traffic level so that the chances for relevant visitors are favorable to you. This means that you are in control of everything that has to do with business management and you don’t depend on someone else to generate the leads for you.
It is therefore pointless to focus on the best product, best network marketing opportunity or best compensation plan if you don’t understand this plain but simple truth.
