At Home Supplemental Income
I would like to be considered for this scholarship as I need to supplement my income. I have previously been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and also a pace maker. Due to these medical conditions, I’ve looked into stay at home jobs. I do have the computer set up to facilitate the work of a MT. I have acquired a Business of Science Degree in Education which I believe would help me in this endeavor. My desire to work at home also comes from having been diagnosed with PTSD from early childhood atrocities. It has taken years for me in counseling but I believe I have reached a high success of healing. I have done several types of jobs in my life and have enjoyed each one of them. For many years I taught school during the school year, then waitressed during the summer months. I was able to pay for my college education by waitressing from an early age. Due to my physical health now, I need a much less strenuous job to supplement my income. Others have mentioned to me the possibility of an independent way to support myself. My son has been doing just that for several years. I would like to be able to let him off the hook and create my own income. SN:0MA9N2ESY
My social security does not meet the needs to keep my home at this time. I have been writing a book for several years about all the wonderful miracles I have seen in my lifetime. Every day is a blessing to me. I believe it isn’t how many breaths we take but how many things take our breath away. I have seen so much and want to share what I experienced. I have been journaling for many years so that I might understand the aspect of PTSD and how it affects both the psychological and physical elements of us. I so need this scholarship to help pay for this education as I have so little to work with to help pay for it. I have always been interested in learning and want to continue to do so. I look forward to hearing from you as to whether I might be considered for this scholarship. If there is more that I can do to be acceptable for this I would like to do so. I believe that I would do well at this career and I plan to finish my medical transcription program and I would like to have a couple accounts in six months or so. I would like to work part-time. I am not interested in making a lot of money, just what is needed to make ends meet. I would be happy to do something for others and transcribing medical reports would be an honor. I have wanted to do this for sometime so I am all ready to learn what I need to learn to make this into a reality.
